In July I got a phone call from friendship, if I would be interested to film a project as part of the Dan
Semmering with two dancers from the wiener Staatsballett .
A few days later I a drove with my good friend Kohli, who helped me with the light, BTS photos & overall good mood, to Semmering to met up with Mila & Robert.
They already spent a day in Semmering and discovered a few beautiful locations for our project. We had no actually idea what the output should look like so we just started to shoot.
Mila & Robert began dancing in these beautiful abandoned places and I just followed their movement with my camera.
There were no words spoken & no second takes.
Everything was improvised. The only thing I knew was, that I didn’t want to tell a love story, there was so much more to this surrounding & this talented humans.
I split up this film in four acts.
This is Act01.
